The first step in how to adjust a vinyl four panel sliding glass door is removing the four adjustment plugs located near the bottom of the door panels. Next, you will open the door slightly and use your putty knife to lift the weight of the door panel away from the rollers. Next, now that you have a good locking position, let go of the lock and slide the panel open. Finally, tighten the screws on the passive side. Test the operation and locks before reapplying the screws and moving to the active side.

Next, you will need to position the active panel and multi-point strikes until you have a good locking position and, then, tighten the screws on the active side. Once again, test the operation locks.
